The Freemans Student Fashion Writer Competition – Winners Announced!
Back in September we launched the second Freemans Student Writing Competition, an opportunity for our younger readers to see their work in print by sharing their passion in a short post for our official blog. We were overwhelmed by the response, with dozens of entries coming in from Universities all over the UK.
Due to the extremely high standard of writing from all of our entrants, choosing one winner was no easy task, but ultimately Harriet Oliver, a Fashion Student at Manchester Metropolitan University, caught our eye for her sharp writing style and impeccable taste! In addition to publishing her winning blog, we’ve invited Harriet to contribute a series of additional blog posts, which we’ll be publishing in the coming weeks. She also won a brand new iPad 2 from our catalogue. Congratulations Helen!
We also awarded runners up prizes to three entrants that we felt were just too good to overlook, so congratulations to Ruth Parker of Lincoln University, Georgina McCann of Southampton University, and Emma Wilson of the University of Northampton. Ruth won a brand new Camcorder, while Georgina and Emma were awarded top-of-the-line digital cameras. We’ll also be publishing their entries very soon.
We have a number of exciting competitions planned for 2012, so don’t despair if you weren’t a winner this time. Keep it here to stay up to date with all our latest projects and promotions.
