Chillytime Sleeveless Bow Detailed Dress Style Guide: Perfect Party WearHere at Freemans we’re currently baking in the midst of the unexpected Indian summer that seems to have hit the country – not that we’re complaining! If the past week of soaking up the balmy weather has taught us anything, it’s that one should never be unprepared for an opportunity to cast aside the autumn layers and get your legs out! Alas, we suspect the high temperatures probably won’t last much longer, but fortunately great summer dresses can also double up as fabulous party wear. Here’s what we’ve been wearing recently…

This Chillytime Sleeveless Bow Detailed Dress is a perfect transition dress, as the neutral colours can be dressed up with accessories and killer heels for a special occasion, or toned down for casual wear. It also works just as well with bare legs or thick tights, and the below the knee cut is effortlessly on-trend.

Swinging sixties chic is absolutely back-in, and this stunning Marl Knit Dress is our favourite discovery of this week. The long sleeves and turtleneck collar are enough to protect you from any late-autumn chill, while the patterned skirt creates a stylish two-tone look. Team with heels and some sparkly jewellery for eye-catching party wear, or throw on some knee-boots for a more casual winter style.

Our final pick for this week is the Laura Scott Check Dress. The tartan colour scheme is perfect for autumn, and it’s perfect for a heels and leggings combo. Consider matching black tights or leggings with a black jacket and heels for some serious colour-co-ordination.

Did you get caught out by the surprise heat wave last week? Let us know what you got up to, and of course what you were wearing, in the comments section. Until next time…
