I love how easy it is to move from room to room and carrying it upstairs was effortless. I would have preferred a longer cord as my stair case is very long and winding but adding an extension cable will solve this

Another really good Dyson. Two drawbacks one is the power cord is way to short have to plug it into two different plug sockets just to do my lounge and two the attachments are not as good as the earlier models.

considered other hoovers and decided on thsi one after reading reviews. the short cable is the only negative but it doesn't take much to unplug it when you go into another room! extremely lightweight and easy to use.

Although it's pricey I think it is well worth the money. It is extremely easy to use and move around. The dust chamber is a little smaller than my previous hoover but it is so easy to empty that that is not a problem at all. It is very light so easy to carry upstairs and when the handle is down it is easy to store. Excellent for clearing up behind my two cats, two dogs and two kids!

I had the larger version of the Dyson animal before which I needed to replace. This is so much easier to use. Lightweight, compact and ideal for the smaller house.

Bought as a replacement for bigger heavier model as have 3 pets but have got rid of room carpets. Light to manoeuvre round furniture. Is a problem doin under beds or low tables as ball gets in way but i use the hose and wand for those areas. Great on stairs as so light no trouble to sit next to you on each step. Turbo brush is ideal for stairs, pet beds and car as it does brilliant job on the pet hairs. Downside is small bin and short flex but I empty 2x weekly and use extension lead to do whole house from hall plug. Really small to store. Fits great in cupboard.

Had this to replace an older Dyson Animal. I had difficulty with the height and weight of the previous one but this one is fantastically light to carry up and downstairs and I can move it up the stairs one at a time with me as I vacc them. I was worried that it wouldn't be powerful enough to cope with my cat/dog hairs but it does a great job. I dont have a big home and have mainly wooden floors with rugs so I find this is vacc ideal and it's smaller size means it tucks into the corner for storage much better. The only drawbacks I feel are that the ball gets in the way when vaccing under my dining chairs and tables and beds but I can use the pipes instead and that the power cord is quite short. I have to plug in at each room I vacc in or use an extension if Im doing the whole storey in one go.

I love this product because Dyson are a fabulous Brand with fantastic customer care for the replacement parts! I have had a dyson for 10 years and its still in fabulous working condition - I recently had some spare parts renewed [ at no cost] as I took out extended warranty [ peanuts] and ended up with a practically new product! I have actually bought this one for my daughter in law who was over the moon with it! Ive just bought a new one for myself as it is very light and its always good I think to have a spare! [ Any excuse to buy the new light weight model!]

this is the third dyson i have. dc1 old but lighter but bulky. dc7 excellent in large areas, difficult to move and heavy.

Dc24 FAB. JUST RIGHT FOR MOST ROOMS IN ORDINARY HOUSES WITHOUT MINIMALIST SURROUNDINGS.

I can now get into bathroon & toilet corners for dust and quickly get up pet hairs every day. I even use it on chairs, bed covers and curtain edges where cats pass by and leave fur.

** Quick, efficient and wonderful to move.I am not a giant or weightlifter: but disabled and at last I've found something I can use myself!!.**

Wish the extra tool had a special storage space with machine, I just have to keep it nearby.

Worth every penny..
