Comments about Esprit Stripe Cardigan:
This is how I remember all cardigans used to be hand knitted & made... but this is "fine knit" & FAB.
Yes i'm over fifty, no where near your models age but this is style for all ages. CLASSIC. COCO CHANEL SHAPE. wear with bracelet cuffs, or denim.
Yarn dyed & woven. Pockets knitted in not on. Raglan sleeves with good fit at top of arm & shoulder, no pulling because armhole is sewn. Grosgrain band behind buttons to save them pulling through with use. Sleeve & hem double knitted so that they wear longer.
A REAL QUALITY KNITWEAR CLASSIC. WORTH EVERY PENNY.
A favourite already. Hope to be wearing years from now.
I had blue & white. White is winter white looks like milk. Had 2 sizes. One for close fit & one to allow it to be used as a jacket over lots layers for cooler weather too. Lovely soft smart dressing for office or out. Dress it up or down.
Not sure about red & white? Stripes are in for 2012: see my other review for ajc multi stripe cardy. Shame this didn't come in black or other solid colour with a coloured edging around neck & pockets too.
Both useful but this is by far the better made product. .
