Fur Trim Parka

Casual, stylish but needs little more padding

i'm a size 14 with big hips, 5'4, otherwise i'm in quite good proportion but this made me look fat. It looks cheap even though it doesn't look cheap in the picture. And the fur was horrible looking, definetly not the same as what it is in the pic. At the bottom it puffs out like a dress which looked odd.

I had to think long and hard about what the problem was with this coat as I was prepared to really like it (although the colour is brown rather than dark kakhi). Then I realised it was the stitched on band around the waist for the pull-cord, which seemed to cheapen it. Other parkas have the band on the inside. i bought this for a gift for when she goes to university,not there yet but she never takes it off she loves the look,the comfort in wearing it, and feels it very fashionable.

I thought I was really going to like this coat (although the colour was stated as Dark Khaki but was actually Brown). However, the sewn on strip of fabric around the middle for the drawcord, in my opinion, made the coat look cheap and although it took a while for me to realise what the problem was, it drew attention to my waist, which along with the padding made me look fat (I'm only a size 12!). Sadly it was returned.
