Its so versatile. Very warm but not heavy & no need to wear gloves, having thumbholes in sleeves which is so handy to have fingers free when doing lots of shopping, especially this time of year!
Only disadvantage I can see is if out in very heavy rain, obviously not waterproof, but even that is not a problem if you have an umbrella!
