I wanted a cover up for a beach holiday and (having a tummy I would rather hide) this is perfect - for a bikini cover up you could wear the coloured top part on its own too. It's VERY expensive for what it is (essentially 2 average quality t-shirts) but it's exactly what I was looking for. It is fairly short (I'm 5ft9 and it ends well above the knee) but covers your modesty fine and I'm happy to show off my legs as long as my midriff is disguised!

I read all the reviews on this dress and as advised ordered a size smaller and it was good advise. I ordered the blue and the colour is really nice not too bright or dull so can get away with it here or abroad. Im 5f 5 and the under layer is only just above my knee which is too long for on the beach but the 2 layers together make it great for those lazy poolside drinks or casual strolls/bbqs. Its comfortable,loose fitting but if ordered in right size not so baggy its sack looking,the pockets do make it look better not frumpy. Im a mum of 2 so easy to wear comfort clothes are needed on hot days and this really does tick all the boxes. The top layer could be worn on own on beach as this is bit shorter and it does look good on own but bikini top and sides could show if that matters to you. Looking forward to taking it on hols or if by a miracle we get sun wearing it here!

This little dress was excellent for a day out to visit other villages on a very hot day (Tshirt and shorts can be hot around the waist line).
