I bought this coat for the length, to wear with long jumpers,leggings and my brown boots. So glad I did! I am a 14 and I bought a 14 and I can wear t-shirt, baggy jumper and scarf comfortably with this coat. Although padded, it is not overly so,I don't feel like a michelin man! Have worn it in rain and remained quite dry, wore it in the cold and was comfortably warm. It is not a thick coat, but wearing a jumper with it I was comfortable.

This coat feels very light but it is really warm and the hood is just as thick and not one of those thin,roll up into the collar hoods.At first I thought it was expensive(for what it was) but I'm glad I kept it as I find it is the most practical coat I have.

I have been looking for a Parka style winter coat for a while but everything I have seen has either been too pricy or I didn't like material! I found this coat and thought i'd give it a try - very simple design, not too bulky so you can layer up underneath without feeling like the michelin man!
